Great design, development & sheet metal folding = The Swing Table

Unless you’re in the laser cutting and sheet metal folding industry, it’s pretty hard to imagine who would need to use laser cutting services or sheet metal folding and so here’s an amazing example of what sort of products sheet metal folding, in particular, can produce.
Our client David Ross of www.davidblairross.com manufactured this amazing Swing Table, which was designed by Chris Duffy of www.duffylondon.com. The four poster table uses its structure to suspend a central GEO lampshade and eight hanging chairs that sway playfully. The table is made from walnut and powder coated mild steel, which Essex Laser folded to create the chairs and lampshade. This design creates an exceptionally divergent experience and aesthetic, creating a room within a room, with chairs that float around the table; it also makes vacuuming a breeze.
